The tuberculosis association is promoting in this county supplies of various kinds to support the child health camp to be found in Colyear Springs this summer.
For now, the impetus is aimed at mobilizing about seventy chickens to be taken to camp and for the Gramaphone and Victrola records to be used in children’s entertainment. However, the supply of all descriptions may be used in the camp, and persons who are in a position to assist in this matter should notify one committee member or Miss Balsh, the Red Cross nurse, at the same time.
Miss Balsh held a Red Cross contest last Friday at Oak Street School and on that occasion told the children and others present what she hopes to do at the camp and recited some of the things needed to make it a success.
The lack of funds available by the TB Association makes this resource necessary for the general public to get help.
