He continued his training in obstetrics and gynecology until 1991, and then pursued his passion and did his graduate training in pediatrics at Howard University Hospital.
After his training, he obtained pediatric certification through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance the health of children by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Serving on the board of Healthy Kids in Charles County, Dr. Ogunrinde is an active member of the African Women’s Cancer Association and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
With diverse experience in healthcare and business management, she has enjoyed working in teams from diverse cultural backgrounds and has been recognized by her peers for her leadership role. His past trips to medical missions have opened up a new interest in finding ways to improve healthcare and innovations in emerging markets, especially in Nigeria.
A graduate of Maryland and Washington, DC, Dr. Ogunrinde is affiliated with MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center and the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center.
