Dillard University will be hosting a virtual Women’s Health Conference June 25-26, 2021, to address the lack of access and racial inequities women, especially Black women, face in the health care system.
Themed “Women’s Health Across the Life Span,” the inaugural conference will explore medical, emotional/behavioral, and reproductive health. Recent graduates, health practitioners, and those interested in the medical field are invited to participate in this two-day virtual event to sharpen their skills and network with other female professionals.
Nurses can earn up to 8.0 nursing continuing education contact hours for attending the entire 2 day 2021 Inaugural Virtual Women’s Health Conference. Dillard University College of Nursing is an approved as a provider of nursing continuing education contact hours by the Louisiana State Board of Nurses Provider # 53. Valid through December 31, 2023.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Clinicians (physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, allied health professional), researchers, health educators, public and community health leaders and students who have an interest in women’s health and grant writing.
