- The dermis has long provoked his fans with this satisfying pop.
- Finally, Dr. Pimple Popper slices it and extracts a ton of egg salad.
Dermatologist Sandra Lee, MD, also known as Dra. Pimple Popper, has appeared recently and has shared some pretty thick cysts on his social media pages. From a “oatmeal bomb” cyst to a “garlic” cyst, it doesn’t skimp on the contents of your cyst. And in his latest YouTube video, he popped a huge epidermoid cyst of “egg salad” from a patient’s neck. (He also shared a look at Instagram.)
Finally, the full video and the extravagance featured in the cyst are here. “An epidermoid cyst is a non-cancerous growth that is usually found on the skin of the face or neck, but can occur on any part of the body,” Dr. Pimple Popper wrote in the video description. “As its name suggests, these cysts occur as a result of epidermal cells, cells in the upper layer of the skin, also known as the epidermis, that grow in a small space. The accumulation of ‘these cells under the skin result in a “cheesy” consistency. and often a pungent odor! “(Ugh, that’s a lot.)
Dr. Pimple Popper also noted that epidermal cysts are usually harmless and show no symptoms, but that people usually eliminate them if they become inflamed or ruptured. “If you have a broken cyst, you may notice sudden redness, pain, swelling, and heat around the area, which can lead to the formation of an abscess,” Dr. Pimple Popper wrote. “Surgical removal of the cyst can heal the area, but the entire cystic sac and all of its contents need to be removed to ensure that the cyst does not grow back.”

In the video, Dr. Pimple Popper shows the neck cyst before the pop. It comes out like an egg from the patient’s neck. In the next shot, he gets to work. When the patient’s skin is sliced, the clean liquid is removed immediately.
“He wanted to shoot me! I was missing him,” says Dr. Pimple Popper.
From here grab some scissors to cut the cyst a little more before you start squeezing it. Her patient shouts, “Hello mom!” at the moment of truth, when he begins to extract the contents of the cyst. And a flood of yellow pieces comes out.
“It’s like an egg salad,” says Dr. Pimple Popper. “No chopped egg salad, like a very soft egg salad. It’s just a skin that has long been nailed underneath.”
Once it removes most of the contents, the dermis grabs a syringe to numb the patient to get the sac. He grabs some tweezers and, along with his scissors, struggles with the remaining contents.

“It feels weird, like some stretching,” his patient says. The sack and lots of fibrous tissue come out to greet everyone over time. Dr. Pimple Popper supports the patient wonderfully.
“Ugh! I never eat egg salad again!” A fan commented. “🤮 But in a good way!” wrote another. All this adds up to a seriously satisfying popping.
