It was reported in the journal that the author, Bekalu Getnet Kassa, had taken data from a previous research study conducted in 2019 by another researcher. The author used this data without permission and sent the article to the International Journal of Women’s Health with the claim that it was an original study conducted by them. The author indicated that the study had been conducted in the southern part of Gondar, northwestern Ethiopia, by 2020 and that data had been collected from hospitals in the southern part of Gondar, Ethiopia. , from January 12, 2020 to February 3, 2020. However, data was actually collected from a health center in Bahir Dar, northwestern Ethiopia, by another researcher in 2019.
