Gabrielle Union, 48, has been hitting the gym hard, and it shows. The best star in Los Angeles took a quick moment to talk about working out in the gym, while sharing some abdominal snack.
“A little work before work,” Gabrielle says in a new Instagram Story video. “Making some profits. Slow and steady she wins the race. ”Gabrielle shows her abs from the front and side in the video, and wowzer. From her own angle, her core is severely toned.
Gabrielle has made it very clear that she is an athletic person. I mean, hello, she’s even in a Gatorade Zero ad next to her husband, former NBA star Dwyane Wade. He’s always filming new workouts for his FitOn app with Dwyane and shares snippets of his workouts on Instagram here and there.
Gabrielle loves cardiovascular intervals, and tells Women’s Health that she likes to mix her workouts “so she doesn’t have anxiety looking at the treadmill”.
It gets super creative to increase heart rate. “Cardio could be jumping, running down my driveway, side shuffles like I used to do in basketball, an elliptical, a treadmill or sled pushes,” he said. But Gabrielle also likes to look for “old faithful” she’s done all her life, like squats and lunges. “They’ve never really failed,” he said.

It also does a bit of strength training in the mix. Gabrielle dropped an intense workout on her Instagram stories in February, which showed her doing various strength training moves, including sitting shoulder presses and the resistance machine. He also possessed some weighted sumo squats and single-leg squatters, with a slider under one foot as he extended his leg outward.
While Gabrielle is about to try any exercise, she previously told WH that group classes are not her thing. “I’ve tried kickboxing, cardio barre, I’ve tried a SoulCycle class … I’m not a person in the class,” he said.
Slow and steady, it certainly amounts to strength for Gabrielle.
