The governor’s update comes a week after the state eased its coronavirus pandemic restrictions. On May 19, Lamont lifted many pandemic restrictions and the state ended the mandate of the inner mask for fully vaccinated people, with a few exceptions, including health care facilities, facilities housing vulnerable populations, public and private traffic, correctional facilities, schools and daycare.
Lamont will hold a press conference at 1 p.m., accompanied by Connecticut Commissioner for Economic and Community Development David Lehman.
