Health officials on Monday reported 933 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus in Illinois, including ten additional deaths.
The Illinois Department of Public Health also announced that 65% of Illinois adults have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 48% of Illinois adults are fully vaccinated, according to CDC data.

Currently, IDPH reports a total of 1,376,411 cases, including 22,633 deaths, in 102 Illinois counties.
In the last 24 hours, laboratories have reported 33,010 specimens for a total of 24,266,277. On Sunday night, it was reported that 1,393 people in Illinois were in the hospital with COVID-19. Of these, 334 patients were in the ICU and 180 patients with COVID-19 with ventilators.
The seven-day preliminary positivity in the state for cases as a percentage of the total test from May 17 to 23, 2021 is 2.2%. The state’s seven-day preliminary positivity test from May 17-23, 2021 is 2.7%.
A total of 10,940,769 vaccines have been administered in Illinois since last midnight. The rotating average of seven days of vaccines administered daily is 76,133 doses.

On Sunday, 36,358 doses were reported to have been administered in Illinois. Doses administered at CVS pharmacies over the weekend have not yet been reported and will be added in the coming days.
