
A pair of students from the area completed their degrees at Wheaton College this spring. Caleb Brink of Holland and Cale Lewis of West Olive both graduated in May.
Brink graduated cum laude with a degree in English with teacher certification in secondary education. Lewis graduated magna cum laude with a degree in business/economics and history.
Kuhn earns honors at Georgia Southern
Holland’s Zachary Kuhn was named to the Georgia Southern University Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester. To be eligible, students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and complete 12 or more credit hours for the semester.
Bosma, Griffin graduate from Miami
Two local students were among those who graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, this spring.
Tyler Bosma, of Holland, graduated with a degree in business in accountancy. Zeeland’s Haley Griffin graduated cum laude with a degree in professional writing.
Students make Palmer Chiropractic Dean’s List
A handful of students from the area were recognized for academic achievement by Palmer College of Chiropractic this spring.
Jacolyn Mullins of Hamilton, John Teasley and Izabel Vandermolen of Holland and Hope O’Connor of Zeeland each earned a spot on the list. Teasley attends the college’s Port Orange, Florida, campus while Mullins, Vandermolen and O’Connor attend the main campus in Davenport, Iowa.
