The state health department confirmed 1,013 cases of coronavirus on Saturday, bringing Michigan to 883,202 cases in total since the start of the pandemic.
Another 86 deaths from COVID-19 were also reported on Saturday, as part of 99 deaths identified through the periodic review of previous death certificates by the state health department. This increases Michigan’s death toll to 18,939.

Of the 29,989 diagnostic tests reported on Friday, 1,571 gave positive results, a positivity rate of 5.24%.
Saturday’s report included 103,233 probable cases and 1,201 probable deaths, for a total of 986,435 cases and 20,140 deaths.
