HAMPTON, Virginia (WAVY) – More than 500 at-risk residents age 65 and older receive the COVID-19 vaccine Saturday in Hampton.
Religious leaders and local health officials came together Saturday to administer COVID-19 vaccines to senior residents of Hampton and Newport News.
The event is the fourth planned vaccination against COVID-19 conducted by JenCare doctors at the large churches in Tidewater.
The event is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sixth Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hampton. All vaccines were provided by the Virginia Department of Health.
