Dr. Robert Brooks
On Sunday, May 9, 2021, Dr. Robert Brooks, a chiropractor and dedicated professor, died at the age of 75.
Dr. Brooks was born on April 15, 1946 in Tulsa, OK, to Cecil and Gusetta Brooks. He received his doctorate in chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, AI, in 1970. He personally cared for more than twenty-five thousand patients in Oklahoma, each of the fifty states, and several foreign countries.
Dr. Brooks had a passion for caring for people, through spinal care from the National Association of Upper Cervical Chiropractic (NUCCA), chiropractic seminars, and personal relationships. He noted his great loves for being his partner, Barbara Allen; their children and grandchildren.
His parents, Cecil and Gusetta, and their eldest son, Tod Brooks, preceded Dr. Brooks’ death. He is survived by his partner, Barbara Allen; his eldest grandson, Blake Brooks; son, Douglass Brooks, wife, Sarah and their two children, Daniel and Bruce Brooks; son, Killis Carrell; son, Jonathan Brooks, wife Stephanie and their two daughters, Evelyn and Rory Brooks.
His life reflected his personal intention to be a student, healer, and teacher with dignity, integrity, and grace.
A funeral service limited to family and close friends will be held May 28 at All Souls Unitary Church in Tulsa at 4 p.m. The service will be played live to the general public at http://allsoulschurch.org/live.
