The Nemours Children’s Health System will take effect in August from Nemours Children’s Health, the hospital announced on May 14th.
The name change will create “a unified brand in the five-state health system” based in Jacksonville, according to the press release.

Nemours operates two hospitals, about 80 primary and specialist care clinics, a policy and prevention office and a “robust international program”.
As part of the change, Nemours is launching its five-year strategic plan, which is to advocate for a national strategy for children’s health, innovate in the delivery of health care, and leverage the system’s clinical experience.
“Nemours’ new strategy is designed to achieve our vision of creating the healthiest generations of children, ”R. Lawrence Moss, president and CEO of Nemours Children’s Health, said in a press release. “Our commitment to transforming children’s health recognizes that we need to rewrite their definition.
“We are committed to working with public, private, government and community partners to address the social determinants of health through a holistic approach beyond healthcare that includes the home, school and community.”
He redesigned his logo to “better reflect the organization’s bold vision of redefining children’s health” and “represents Nemours’ unique approach to patient care.”
Nemours’ vision, strategic plan and new brand are intertwined, all reflected in his new brand created “The Loop of Care”, which represents both the lasting relationship between a child and the caregiver, as well as the continuous search for Nemours innovation. “Sarah Sanders, senior vice president and head of marketing at Nemours Children’s Health, said in a statement.
In Jacksonville, Nemours operates a hospital at 807 Childrens Way in San Marco and a Nemours Foundation office at 10140 Centurion Parkway.
