AVON LAKE, OH — Lorain County Public Health (LCPH) wants to learn more about the health of women locally.
The Lorain County Women’s Health Task Force is conducting a study open to women, ages 18 to 44. The survey should take about 10 minutes. It has questions about health knowledge and behaviors. Survey responses will remain anonymous and findings will be made available to the public.
One in 10 survey respondents will win a $40 Amazon gift card, emailed to an address provided during the survey. The survey can be completed online or on your phone via LorainCountyHealth.com/survey. The survey is open till June 30, 2021.
“From 2015 to 2017, heart disease was the second leading cause of death [each year] for Lorain County women,” said Dave Covell, health commissioner at LCPH. “Women face unique health challenges that are important to address. Gathering information and feedback from Lorain County women helps us plan future policies, programs and strategies. Our goal is to reverse this trend and improve the overall health of Lorain County women.”
